Since its wide theatrical debut on July 17, 2026, The Odyssey—a stark, visceral re-imagining of Homer’s ancient Greek poem—has dominated multiplexes globally. Driven by premium format viewings on IMAX, word-of-mouth momentum, and critical acclaim, the film reached the $1 billion milestone in record time before pushing past the $1.4 billion threshold.
