The US Presidential Election contest between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is exceptionally close across America and in all the swing states – Pennsylvania, Arizona , Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia and North Carolina.
The New Delhi Chronicle Survey along with political opinion polling company ‘Quest Wave’ , indicates Kamala Harris leading in a very thin margin or tied with Donald Trump in all the swing states , where as Donald Trump leads in Arizona. This trend shows a knife edge poll battle with no favourites.
The Suburban women voters, who never expressed their support to anyone till now can tilt the election’s result in anyone’s favour .Though the political strategists have an opinion that they may vote for both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump , there may be a very thin edge to Kamala Harris but swing states especially Arizona may reverse this trend favouring Trump. It’s interesting to see this thriller during the vote count .
Trump in the campaign demonises migrants while Harris says she will never forget where she comes from . This indicates a fight between the nativity and collective.
Along side Harris and Trump, the other notable third party and independent contenders are Jill Stein representing the Green Party, Chase Oliver who is with the Libertarian Party and Robert Kennedy Jr, the nephew of John F Kennedy.
270 electoral votes are needed to win the US Presidential Election, which is a majority of the 538 total electoral votes available.
