Dhanda’s selection comes on the back of an extraordinary performance at the Games, where she emerged as one of India’s most successful athletes with a three-medal haul:
Gold (Women’s Individual Trap): Made history as the first Indian woman to capture an individual Asian Games gold medal in a shotgun discipline. She set a Games record in qualification (118/125) and an Asian record in the final (28/30).
Gold (Mixed Trap Team): Partnered with Kynan Chenai to secure the top spot on the penultimate day of shooting.
Silver (Women’s Trap Team): Teamed up with Manisha Keer and Aashima Ahlawat to claim second place.
