NEW DELHI: In a sweeping organizational overhaul ahead of upcoming political challenges, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced a new national team under party chief Nitin Nabin, introducing high-profile realignments across its office-bearer lineup.

Key Vice-Presidential Appointments

Under the new organizational structure, the party announced 13 national vice-presidents. Prominent leaders inducted into this tier include:

 Vasundhara Raje Scindia and Ram Madhav

 Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat

 D. Purandeshwari

 Former Union Minister Bharti Pawar

 Manpreet Singh Badal

 Tariq Mansoor

Shift in General Secretaries and Key Roles

The leadership appointed eight national general secretaries, placing seasoned leaders in key administrative positions. Among the prominent names added to this operational tier are:

 Former Union Minister Smriti Irani

 Former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb

 Senior leaders Sunil Bansal, Vinod Tawde, and Satish Poonia

 Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi, and Sanjay Bhatia

The BJP opted for continuity in its organizational backbone by retaining B.L. Santhosh as the national general secretary (organisation). Meanwhile, Shivprakash and Saudan Singh have been appointed as national joint general secretaries (organisation).

Financial Leadership & Expanded Secretariat

In another significant move, Union Minister Piyush Goyal has been named the national treasurer of the party.

The expanded list of 16 national secretaries features notable later-entrants and prominent faces from diverse political backgrounds, including former AAP leader Sandeep Pathak, alongside Anil Antony and Rohan Gupta.

The reshuffle signals a strategic consolidation by party chief Nitin Nabin, striking a balance between experienced administrators, regional heavyweights, and fresh inductees as the BJP prepares its organizational machine for future electoral battles.
