The BCCI would be presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to India’s one of the legendary cricketing icons, Sachin Tendulkar, in an upcoming annual event.

Tendulkar, 51, has played 664 international cricket matches for India and is the player with the most Test and ODI runs in the history of the game.

Tendulkar had played 200 Test matches, 463 ODIs and just one T20.In addition to his incredible 18,426 ODI runs, he scored 15,921 Test runs.

Sachin Tendulkar debuted against Pakistan at the age of 16 ,played for 24 years until he aged 40. Sachin Tendulkar is still an emotional connect to Indian cricket lovers as he single handedly won games for the country , created new records taking against the best bowling attacks in the world with the likes of Malcom Marshall, Ion Bishop ,Bret Lee ,McGrath , Muralidharan,Shane Warne,Chaminda Vaas,Wasim Akram,Waqar Yunus,Allan Donald and many more greats .He’s still known as the GOD of cricketing world for his gentle behaviour and taking up challenges which no one could have ever dared and dreamt .
