New Delhi: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership on the global stage, describing him as a ‘’Prime asset for India ‘’in a recent column focused on the country’s Operation Sindoor outreach initiative.

Tharoor, who recently participated in a five-nation diplomatic mission linked to Operation Sindoor – India’s outreach campaign addressing concerns over Pakistan praised the Prime Minister’s energy , dynamism and willingness to engage in international affairs. The remarks, published in The Hindu, mark another instance of the senior Congress leader acknowledging Modi’s impact on India’s foreign policy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s energy, dynamism and willingness to engage remains a prime asset for India on the global stage, but deserves greater backing. Tharoor wrote, emphasizing that the mission exemplified India’s unified approach in international diplomacy.

Reflecting on his experience during the outreach, Tharoor underscored the importance of strategic communication and soft power. The power of unity, the efficacy of clear communication, the strategic value of soft power, and the imperative of sustained public diplomacy are vital tools for India in navigating today’s s increasingly complex global environment, he said.

The Congress MP also highlighted what he termed the ‘Three T’s ‘ technology, trade, and tradition” as key pillars of India’s future global strategy, adding that these elements should guide the nation in pursuit of a more just, secure, and prosperous world.
