The romantic drama Saiyaara, featuring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, continues to surprise the box office with its impressive performance. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film has steadily gained momentum, pulling in an estimated ₹25.50 crore on its first Tuesday—surpassing the opening day numbers and setting a new benchmark for a midweek release.
While the final figures will confirm whether Saiyaara edges past Chhaava (₹25.75 crore) to become the top first-Tuesday grosser of the year, it has already outperformed several high-profile titles in Hindi cinema, including Pathaan, Dangal, and KGF: Chapter 2 (Hindi version).
