71st National Film Awards 2025: Full Winners List – Shah Rukh Khan & Vikrant Massey Share Best Actor, Rani Mukerji Wins Best Actress, ‘Kathal’ Named Best Hindi Film

The 71st National Film Awards, one of the most prestigious recognitions in Indian cinema, were announced today in New Delhi. These awards celebrate excellence across various aspects of filmmaking, including acting, direction, music, and technical brilliance.

The winners were officially declared after the jury submitted its report to Union Information & Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister of State Dr. L. Murugan at 4 PM. This was followed by a press briefing at the National Media Centre, where the names of the winners were revealed.

In a major highlight, Shah Rukh Khan bagged the Best Actor Award for his powerful performance in Jawan, sharing the honor with Vikrant Massey for his critically acclaimed role in 12th Fail. Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji won Best Actress for her impactful performance in Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway. The quirky social satire Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery was named Best Hindi Film.
