Acid thrown on BJP leader’s daughter in Bihar. Tejaswi Yadav criticises Nitish Kumar government

Pallavi Rathore,daughter of a BJP leader in Bihar, sustained serious injuries after acid was thrown on her while she was asleep at her home in Begusarai district, police said on Sunday.

Pallavi Rathore isdaughter of Sanjay Kumar Singh, a former vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bakhr.

According to police, unidentified individuals scaled the boundary wall of the house around 2 am and threw acid on Pallavi through a window when she was asleep . She has suffered severe burns on her face and few parts of her body .

RJD Leader Tejaswi Yadav criticised Nitish Kumar’s government and said people of Bihar are not safe anymore and Themis incidence is a clear evidence of law and order failure.

He said ‘’Even the daughter of a BJP leader has been targeted, yet those in power remain silent. We strongly condemn this incident and demand justice for the victim’’.
