Hyderabad’s KIMS Sunshine Hospital launches Robotic Surgery Services

KIMS Sunshine Hospital in Hyderabad, now houses six robotic surgical systems. The hospital launched robotic surgical services across its departments of Surgical Gastroenterology, Urology, and Oncology on Monday .

The inauguration held at the hospital’s Begumpet unit also saw the formal introduction of the latest da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. During the inauguration held at the hospital’s Begumpet unit, hospital managing director A.V. Gurava Reddy announced the addition of the latest da Vinci Robotic Surgical System.He said the new system would be deployed for a range of procedures.

Vimalakar Reddy, senior consultant and head of Surgical Gastroenterology and Robotic Surgery, said the system enhances surgical precision, responding accurately to the surgeon’s commands and improving overall control during operations.
