Australia beats India by 184 runs in the 4th test match , takes 2-1 lead in the Border- Gavaskar Trophy at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Monday .

India were all out for 155 chasing a total of 340 to win the match. indian top order collapsed with Rohit Sharma, K L Rahul and Virat Kohli not contributing much off their bat and continuing with their bad form .

Yashashvi Jaiswal scored 84 and got out in a controversial way . Third umpire gave him out when he was convinced there was a deflection off Jaiswal’s gloves , but the snickometer showed no signs of an edge . Jaiswal won hearts of Indian fans by scoring 82 in the first innings and 84 in the second , showing he has a class and talent which would go a long way.

Rishab Pant throwing his wicket after building a solid partnership triggered the innings collapse and brought the opposition into the game back . India were going good at 121/3 when Pant was dismissed for a reckless shot .

India will play its last test match against Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground on January 3. India needs to win this match to save the series .
