Dhurandhar Star Sara Arjun Turns 21: Why the Actress Calls Sadhguru’s Isha Home School Her ‘Second Home’

By Entertainment Bureau, New Delhi Chronicle

NEW DELHI: Actress Sara Arjun, who captured hearts with her performance as Ranveer Singh’s love interest and wife in the blockbuster hits Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2, has turned 21. As the young star celebrates her milestone birthday on June 18, a nostalgic look back at her deep spiritual roots highlights the unique grounding behind her rising Bollywood career.

For Sara, success in the film industry coexists with a profound sense of gratitude for her alma mater—Sadhguru’s renowned Isha Home School in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The actress has frequently open-hearted referred to the institution not just as a former school, but as her absolute “second home.”

“I Come Running Back”: Sara Arjun on Her Spiritual Roots

An alumna of the residential school located at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains, Sara has never missed an opportunity to return to her roots. Speaking about her deep connection to the place, Sara previously shared how the spiritual environment shaped her formative years.

“I’m an alumna of the home school. I just love the place,” Sara said. Recalling her time returning to the center for the massive Maha Shivratri celebrations, she added, “I celebrated it consecutively when I was a student, and then as soon as I got the chance to come back, I came running back here. I’m very happy.”

For the young star, the unique holistic education system at the foundation provided far more than standard academics. “I think a lot of very important lessons and qualities I have gained are because of Isha,” she noted, attributing her calm perspective on life and fame to the environment nurtured by Sadhguru.

Star-Studded Celebrations at Isha

Sara isn’t the only major name drawn to the energy of the Coimbatore center. During her visits, she has been spotted celebrating alongside several prominent film industry figures. High-profile actors like Tamannaah Bhatia, KGF star Srinidhi Shetty, and Mouni Roy have also been part of the festivities alongside Sara, with viral videos capturing the group letting loose and dancing through the night during the cultural segments.

“I am having the most beautiful time,” Sara expressed in a video shared by the Isha Foundation. “I can’t really express how grateful and blessed I am to be here and to witness so many brilliant performances.”

Going With the Flow in Bollywood

Despite her early taste of massive box-office success with the Dhurandhar franchise, Sara is choosing to navigate her career without rigid expectations—a mindset she attributes to her spiritual upbringing.

When asked about her future roadmap in cinema, the 21-year-old actress revealed a remarkably mature and grounded outlook. “I’m just on the receiving end. Whatever happens will happen. I’m trying not to plan anything. It’s all going great. I’m very happy, very blessed. I’m very happy with the way the journey is taking place.”

As she steps into her twenties, fans are eagerly waiting to see what projects the talented Dhurandhar star will take on next, even as she continues to balance the glamour of showbiz with the quiet peace of her second home.
