‘Lord Ram’ to contest as a candidate from Meerut Loksabha constituency on Bjp ticket.

Arun Govil , The ‘Lord Ram ‘ of the epic Mahabarat Tele series is all set to contest from Meerut Loksabha constituency on Bjp ticket. The central leadership today has decided upon Arun Govil ‘s candidature after weighing options between him and poet Kumar Vishwas for Meerut seat.

The incumbent Loksabha Member Rajendra Agarwal, a three time MP , has had an anti-incumbency for a long period and had also won by a small margin of 4,000 votes in 2019 Loksabha polls against BSP candidate Haji Muhammad Yaqoob .

Bjp party top leaders decided to drop Kumar Vishwas ‘s name as he has been embroiled in many controversies off late .

Arun Govil’s name is likely to be announced as Meerut Loksabha constituency candidate by tomorrow .
