NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a massive gathering at the ‘NaMo for Viksit Bharat’ event in Vadodara on Tuesday, taking a sharp swipe at the Opposition while highlighting India’s rapid development trajectory.
Targeting the Congress party, PM Modi renewed his “naraz fufa” (disgruntled uncle) analogy, stating that certain political forces can never find happiness in the nation’s progress (vikas). He noted that despite visible growth and development across various sectors, critics continue to find fault rather than contributing positively to the country’s forward journey.
The event witnessed overwhelming public response in Vadodara. According to event organizers, all seats for the programme were fully booked within an hour after online ticket sales opened, reflecting strong enthusiasm among attendees.
