Rohman Shawl Speaks About High-Carat Diamond Sushmita Sen Likes: “Not in My League Right Now”

Entertainment Desk | New Delhi Chronicle

New Delhi: Model Rohman Shawl, who was in a relationship with actor Sushmita Sen for several years, recently made a light-hearted comment about the kind of diamonds the former Miss Universe prefers — and his current inability to afford them.

In a candid interaction with entertainment portal Instant Bollywood, Shawl shared his appreciation for diamonds. When asked if either he or Sen had ever gifted each other any, he smiled and admitted that the particular diamond Sushmita admires is far beyond his reach at the moment.

“The size of diamond she likes… I’m not at that level yet,” he said in Hindi, adding, “When I reach that stage, God willing, I’ll definitely get it for her.”

Despite their breakup, Shawl and Sen have remained on good terms. They are often seen attending events together, and he was also recently spotted at a gathering at her Mumbai residence.

The couple confirmed their separation in December 2021, with Sushmita Sen sharing a post on social media that read: “We began as friends, we remain friends! The relationship was long over… the love remains!” Her message emphasized mutual respect and affection, even after parting ways.
