Shah Rukh Khan Injured on Set of ‘King’; Filming Delayed Until September

NDC DESK

London/New Delhi — Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has sustained a minor back injury while filming an action sequence for his upcoming film King, sources close to the production have confirmed. While the injury is not serious, it has temporarily halted filming, which is now expected to resume in September.

Following the incident, Khan initially traveled to the United States before moving to the United Kingdom, where he is currently recovering with his family. A previously planned trip to Sri Lanka has reportedly been postponed to focus on his recovery.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, King is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year and marks the feature film debut of Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh’s daughter, who previously appeared in Netflix’s The Archies. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, and Abhay Verma.

Despite the production delay, excitement around the film remains high. Fans have taken to social media to send their best wishes to the actor, expressing hope for a swift recovery and the film’s smooth return to production later this year.
