PM Modi Adresses Nation: Warns Pakistan of Nuclear Blackmail

NDC DESK

In a powerful address to the nation Monday night, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India had set “new red lines” against terrorism and warned that the country would not bow to nuclear threats. Speaking for the first time after the ceasefire with Pakistan, he said Operation Sindhoor was India’s clear message: terror will not go unpunished.

“We have set a new normal,” the Prime Minister said. “If there is a terror attack on India, we will hit back. We will strike at every place from where terror roots emerge. India will not accept any nuclear blackmail. And we won’t separate terror outfits from the government that shelters them.”

Modi confirmed that Operation Sindhoor, was briefly suspended after Pakistan pleading with global powers to reduce tensions. “They were left shocked by our action. Their drones and missiles were intercepted by our air defence systems.”
“They prepared for a border strike, but we attacked their chest,” he said. “Our missiles and drones destroyed their terror infrastructure and air bases. In just three days, we damaged them in ways they didn’t expect. When they promised to stop the attacks, India paused the operation. But we are watching closely.”

Targeting the terror camps in Muridke and Bahawalpur, he called them “universities of global terrorism.” He said over 100 top terrorists were eliminated “in one stroke.”
He also hit out at Pakistan for targeting civilians. “They attacked our schools, temples, gurdwaras, residential areas, and military bases”. Modi did not mince words about Pakistan’s internal contradictions either. “Their army lays wreaths for terrorists. They showed the world who they really are. Our response exposed them even more.”

PM Modi made it clear that any dialogue with Pakistan would be limited to two things: terror and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. “Today is Buddh Poornima and Bhagwan Buddha has showed us the path of peace, however, The path of peace also goes through the path of strength.
He praised the armed forces and Indian scientists for their role in Operation Sindhoor. “I salute our Army, Air Force, Navy, BSF and paramilitary forces. I congratulate our scientists. I dedicate the valour of our soldiers to every mother, sister, and daughter of this country,” he said.

Referring to the Pahalgam killings, Modi said terrorists had asked victims their religion before killing them in front of their families. “That was an attack on India’s unity. After that, the forces were given a free hand.”
He added, “Operation Sindhoor is an unbroken pledge for justice.”

Ending the speech on a firm note, he said: “Terror and talks, terror and trade cannot run side by side. Water and blood can’t flow together. One day, the same terror Pakistan is sponsoring will finish them from within.”

Operation Sindhoor was more than a counterattack, a declaration to be precise. A shift from silent endurance to surgical clarity. From restraint to resolve.
As India watches and the world takes note, the message is unmistakable: This is a country that may seek peace but not without power.
