Goa: Five TMC Leaders Including Ex-MLA Quit Party, Attacks Prashant Kishore’s I-PAC for interference in politics

NDC Admin

TMC members from Goa including former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Lavoo Mamledar have resigned from the party.

The leaders have claimed that West Bengal Chief Minister (CM) Mamata Banerjee’s party is trying to divide Goans in what comes across as a major jolt for TMC at a time when it is trying to find its feet in the poll-bound state.

The five involved TMC members from Goa are Sujay Mallik, Ram Mandrekar, Komal Parwar, Kishor Parwar and the aforementioned ex-MLA Lavoo Mamledar.

“We had joined the AITC with a hope that it would bring brighter days for Goa and Goans. But it is unfortunate to bring to the notice that AITC has not understood Goa and Goans,” the five politicians wrote in their resignation letter.

They even publicly hit back at Prashant Kishor’s I-PAC company by accusing them of fooling Goans and lacking the understanding of the people of the state.

“The company which you all have hired for your campaign in Goa is fooling Goans and they have not understood the pulse of Goans,” the concerned letter further read, as reported by Hindustan Times.

Further, the dissenting leaders collectively argued that TMC government had failed to uplift the women in West Bengal and hence they wouldn’t be doing anything different in Goa either.
